Looking at some of the important figures about the New York Auto Insurance terms, $50,000 is given out for each injured person when an accident occurs and $10,000 is applicable for property damage liability. These figures are together often referred to as the 25/50/10 NYC auto insurance coverage. Please do note that the state of New York uses a “No Fault system”, which means that the insurance company will only settle payments for your claims up to a certain limit, even if the fault was not yours.
